High school is a desolate land of dead souls and empty meaning. For a while, I blamed my personal school administration for being so totalitarian, and focused all of my ire on them. The growing ego, albeit noisy and irritating, is a very fragile and delicate flower that, if not nurtured into fruition, could become the root of many self-esteem issues in the future. But we still, every day, are taught not to help each other but to compete for grades, attention, and favorites.
